Dean Weight started his business in South-east Queensland to fill what he saw as a major gap in the industry for much-needed services. He is particularly interested in providing unprecedented after-sales service.

Dean is a qualified Auto Electrical Technician with over 15 years’ experience. Completing his Auto Electrical apprenticeship in 2007, he worked in a variety of positions with light and heavy machinery before moving into the mobility industry in 2013. He worked predominantly in repairs and servicing of all makes and models for South-east Queensland’s leading repairer, and in sales as a Territory Manager before establishing D W Mobility Services.

Dean has a great rapport with all his customers, which enables transparency and sensitivity to the needs of those living with different forms of disability. Co-Founder/ Finance and Accounts

Georgie, wife of Dean, originally practised as a Midwife before the family started growing. She now handles some of the behind-the-scenes management, allowing Dean to do what he does best. Georgie also home-schools the 4 kids when not behind the computer.

Technician

Peter is a qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with over 15 years’ experience. Combined with his boilermaker qualification, coach building and maintenance experience, Peter brings great diagnostic, problem solving and mechanical knowledge to his role with us. Prior to his trades, Peter studied natural medicine where he developed his passion for helping others.

Undoubtedly Peter’s most valuable asset is that he is truly in this position to help others and doesn’t see it as a job. This perfectly aligns with D W Mobility Services’ core values.

Peter also enjoys a good yarn, healthy living and spending time with his family.
